Our Vieques sailing and snorkeling trips are designed for our guests enjoyment. Kris and Barbara welcome you aboard their newly renovated classic sloop, Marauder. The over-sized cockpit provides plenty of shade and comfortable, cushioned seats. The full day sail/snorkel departs from Esperanza for a panoramic vista of the sandstone bluffs and caves on the Caribbean side of Vieques. We sail to a beautiful reef to snorkel, the reefs we snorkel are only accessible by boat, so they are particularly lovely. We see colorful corals, a variety of fish, rays and turtles – sometimes even dolphin! First class snorkel gear, flotation and instruction are provided, and the swim ladder extends well underwater for your comfort.

We prepare a gourmet lunch on board, usually grilled chicken caesar salad, made with our homegrown organic produce. A delicious veggie lunch is available on request. Our open bar consists of bottled water, sodas and beer – wine is on request.

After lunch we discuss the history of the Navy on Vieques and what’s going on today. In the afternoon, we sail to a different reef for another hour of snorkeling and return to Esperanza. We are the only full service luxury cruise on Vieques and featured in Fodor’s travel guide. Most important, we have fun!
